Salem Water Crisis

By now I'm sure you've heard all about the Salem Water Crisis. The city has issued a water advisory for vulnerable residents of Salem, Turner, and Stayton. They have set up stations for free water in Salem and Turner. Many Keizer businesses are also providing free water to anyone who needs it.

This situation is unfortunate, and we now know residents could have have been informed much sooner. I appreciate Dick Hughes for doing the vital investigative journalism to help us understand what went wrong.

If you elect me as your next Marion County Commissioner, I am committed to making sure that Marion County gets you the right information, right when you need it, even on a holiday weekend. Public service is just that, and I will always work overtime to ensure the safety of the people of Marion County.
